Modern Languages and Literatures, Chair Creighton University

When was the last time you have been to Spain?
I travel often to Spain (once a year or at least every other year) for professional reasons. I am fortunate to have to do some of my research work at Spanish libraries and archives.

What do you enjoy most about Spain?
I enjoy the culture (and the language) as well as the people, the food and wines, the beautiful landscapes and their diversity, the different regional traditions, and the history of a great country.

What do you think are the advantages of Spain as a destination for American students?
Students will benefit from excellent academic programs, while enjoying a safe and welcoming environment in beautiful cities.

Could you describe the Study Abroad programs your university has with Spain?
Right now our students may choose the program of their choice, so long as they arrange the transfer of those credits in advance.

How satisfied are, in general, American students going/studying in Spain?
Very satisfied. Most of them would like to go back again after graduation.
