Fourth International Congress of the Spanish Language Innovation, Technology and communications in Spanish

We are pleased to inform you that the call is open to participate in the Fourth International Congress of the Spanish Language  Innovation, Technology and communications in Spanish. Palacio de Congresos, Salamanca - July 6-8, 2016

The goal of the Congress – sponsored by the Board of Castilla and León, working with the University of Salamanca, and with the participation of the Cervantes Institute, the Institute of Foreign Trade of Spain, the Salamanca City Hall, the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language, the Castilla-Leon Language Foundation, and Turespaña – is to become an international landmark in the teaching of Spanish as a Second Language (ELE).

Likewise, the Congress will boast as co-organizer the International Federation of Spanish Teachers Association (FIAPE), with over 17,000 teachers, and will be the perfect moment to come into contact with these associations.

Eduespaña is actively participating in the organization of the Congress by managing the exhibition area and assuming the responsibility of international outreach. The latest edition of the Congress, which took place in 2013, saw a total participation of 662 teachers of Spanish as a second language from all five continents. Attached you will find a PDF file with details on the provenance of all participants. A similar attendance level is expected at the 2016 edition.

We would like you to pay special attention to the prizes to the Best ELE Teacher of the Year and the Best Teacher – Ambassador, both rewarded with a travel package that includes transportation and lodgings for their participation in the Congress.
