Bilingual kindergarten enrollment date nears
Parents of incoming kindergartners who want to enroll their children in the Walla Walla School District’s bilingual programming have a week and a half left to do it. The district’s new plan to slowly convert Edison Elementary into a wall-to-wall dual-language school for both native English- and native Spanish-speakers starts in the 2017-18 school year with incoming kindergartners.
