The Spanish student ambassador program launched!
Since September 2008, the Spanish Student Ambassadors program devised and implemented in Miami by the Cultural Industries and Services Department of the Trade Commission of Spain, has taken off spectacularly.
With the ultimate goal of having at least one Student Ambassador in each of the 50 states of the Union by the end of the academic year, the currently appointed Student Ambassadors have conducted numerous activities with very successful results. These are intended to promote Spanish culture, language and education in their institutions of higher learning. Highlighted among them are: Cena Temática (gastronomical journey with Spanish dishes), Fiesta Española (a night of celebration of Spanish dance and music), Arte España (discussions on Spanish fiction and poetry) or Cine Fórum (projection and social chat on Spanish cinema). |
